COMPASS

Community Parents Navigating Support for Early Childhood Cancer Detection

Improving early detection of childhood cancers

The Community Parents Navigating Support for Early Childhood Cancer Detection (COMPASS) project aims to train parents of children managed for cancer as community navigators to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and facilitate early detection and timely referrals. This culturally relevant, cost-effective, and scalable approach addresses barriers to care while fostering community trust.

COMPASS will integrate with existing healthcare and community health worker systems, ensuring sustainability through partnerships with local governments, treatment centers, and non-governmental organisations. This framework will secure long-term funding and scalability for ongoing impact.
